I recently bought an international kindle (DX) primarily for the newspaper subscriptions - i recently moved to South Africa from the UK where I read the FT and Times newspapers most days. I tried the Indie on the strength of the customer reviews alongside the FT. Although good, the FT kindle edition isn't as good as the broadsheet. maybe it's the lack of pictures, font or layout of the articles - maybe even the colour of the paper. The Indie on the other hand is superb. The articles grip my attention and the layout seems to suit the kindle version. i don't even miss the lack of pictures - when will Amazon provide the same content for international owners as for US? In fact, I read more of the Indie on a daily basis than I do the original broadsheets. Excellent and well done to the editorial team.Get more detail about The Independent.
