This card was great while it lasted. I've been using it in my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 for 6 months, during which time it held a lot of pictures and video, but just failed recently and without warning. My camera suddenly switched to built-in memory and is no longer reading the card. I tried it in multiple readers and have confirmed that the card is dead. I would stay away from Patriot brand SD cards and stick with a more reputable brand.
I am a seasoned, casual photographer who averages 4 to 6 years of use with a camera, and take excellent care of my equipment. The failure of this piece was absolutely a manufacturing defect or a low-quality product, and not a result of a careless user.
