I bought this card for the increased storage. I am an avid amateur photographer and know my equipment very well. I am currently on vacation and just finished 2 days taking pictures in Yellowstone. If it wasn't for a good program that can recover lost data, I would have lost half of my pictures from yesterday due to a corruption of the card. The card was read as unreadable after about 10 pics using it, but I had never formatted it. After formatting it seemed to work fine, until yesterday when I went to download the pics onto my netbook (for backup). 1/2 the pictures were read as corrupt directories instead of JPEG or CR2 (RAW) files. Already set-up to return it when I get back home. Back to SanDisk.Get more detail about Kingston Elite Pro 16 GB 133x CompactFlash Memory Card CF/16GB-S2.
