For large files:
write speed: 5.2 MB/s
read speed: 21.3 MB/s
not bad for a class 2 SD card.
I used it to replace the Samsung 2GB microSD that came with my HTC Incredible. The Samsung card's write speed is similar, but read speed is only 15 MB/s.
I tested the $65 A-DATA 16GB Class 6 microSDHC with SD Adapter 16GMSDHC1AP with the same method.
Surprisingly, the "class-6" card's write speed is similar and the read speed is only 17.5 MB/s.
The caveat is that my tests are based on transferring of large files and may not be representative of other scenarios.
However, the results are still very shocking to me because the SanDisk costs only half the price of the A-DATA.
I didn't know about this until I decided to test it. In the past I always purchased the A-DATA 16GB microSDHC for high performance devices such as my HD camorder, because I found its price to be the most reasonable among class-6 cards. Now that I discovered that the Sandisk cards actually cost less and deliver more, I won't buy A-DATA any more.Get more detail about SanDisk 16 GB Class 2 microSDHC Flash Memory Card SDSDQ-016G (Bulk Packaging).
