SanDisk 2 GB Class 2 SD Flash Memory Card SDSDB-2048-A11 Top Quality

I have never had any problems with SanDisk and their solid state drives, namely their SD cards. However, I must say comparing it to the SD HC cards these cards are slow!! But, I don't think it is a fault of SanDisk rather a problem with all SD cards. It is unfortunate that there are still products out their that are not compatible with SD HC cards because having to be burdened by speed, rather lack of speed, of these SD cards can make one go crazy. Regardless, this card is definitely reliable and you won't lose your data which is a definite plus and they are easy to use as they are plug and play.Get more detail about SanDisk 2 GB Class 2 SD Flash Memory Card SDSDB-2048-A11.

SanDisk 2 GB SD Flash Memory Card 2-Pack SDSDB2-2048-A11 Order Now

I did some research on the web before I finally bought these Flash Memory Cards. I am a retired electrical engineer, and I do not just buy things on impulse. I was looking for large-capacity cards for my video camera because during my last vacation I ran out of mini-digital cassettes. My Canon mini-DV video camera runs on mini digital tape and my other still camera can take still pitures and video as well using a single large-capacity SD Card. I have been using SD (Secured Digital)cards for a long time, and I like it due to added sliding button at the side of it to prevent accidental erasure of my store files. If I want to erase some photo shots or even stored MS Word document, I can easily slide it back to open it for additional photos or files. I thought if I have these two 2GB Flash Memory cards with me as back-ups, I will have no problem again if I found that I have no more blank cassettes in my camera bag. I bought these Flash Memory cards in late May, 2010 and tested the first one by loading all my still pictures that I took during my vacation. I found no problem at all during loading and playback. The loading speed is acceptable for me. The other one is still empty, and honestly I have not tested nor loaded anything to it until now. I have 95% confidence on this brand, and will not hesitate in recommending it to my close friends.Get more detail about SanDisk 2 GB SD Flash Memory Card 2-Pack SDSDB2-2048-A11.

Buy SanDisk Ultra - Flash memory card - 16 GB - CompactFlash

I got this so that I could do go longer without changing cards on my Canon 5D Mk II. It came quickly and handles the storage needs I've got with my camera. As I usually shoot RAW and minimal jpeg compression, the space fills up quickly. I've only shot a bit of HD video with the camera, but that will change now. 600 or so stills taken on a 4 day trip to DC gobbled some 9 Gigs of storage--at least I didn't have to swap out a pile of 4 meg cards as I did in the past!Get more detail about SanDisk Ultra - Flash memory card - 16 GB - CompactFlash.

PNY Polaroid P-SDHC4G4-FS/POL Class 4 SDHC Memory Card Right now

The card was defective from the get-go, but it has a lifetime warranty, so no problem, right? Yes, if you have a receipt. But I have no receipt, so PNY, which handles the support for this product, refuses to exchange it. Why is a receipt essential for an item with a lifetime warranty? I'll stick with companies that stand behind their memory cards more resolutely.Get more detail about PNY Polaroid P-SDHC4G4-FS/POL Class 4 SDHC Memory Card.

Cheap Planet Terror (2-Disc Special Edition) [Blu-ray]

After seeing Grindhouse in the theaters, it became an instant favorite of mine. I've gone through a few DVDs so far (US DVD and Japanese 8-disc set) before getting the blu-ray - I have to say there definitely is an upgrade here (despite the old/torn up/dragged through the dirt look of the film). I'll start off by saying that it looks exactly as it was intended to look (and I hate it whenever people say that, as it usually means "It doesn't look that good, but it's not supposed to, so I give it 5 stars") - there is a significant increase in the sharpness of the film, but the blu-ray also includes an exclusive version of the film without the "grindhouse look" - a nice clean print if you ever just want to sit down and watch it without all of the damage (a very cool extra, even if just to check out). Overall the video is a significant jump from the DVD Release and looks very nice. Great audio track to go along with the video - definitely a fun action/horror movie to sit back and crank up the volume to. All extras from the DVD release are carried over and round out the package nicely (the only new extra being the scratch-free version mentioned above)

For anyone who has seen Grindhouse in theaters, it's important to note that this is only the Planet Terror portion of the film - it has been extended (almost half an hour longer) - this may be a good or bad thing based on which version you like. I personally like both versions (extended individual versions and the double-feature) for different reasons - currently, the double-feature isn't available on DVD or Blu Ray in the US, so there aren't many options.

What could have made it better? Picture in picture track and all of the theatrical trailers on the disc (currently the disc only has Machete on it).

If you don't have it on any format, I highly recommend it. It's a nice zombie/action movie - don't expect too many scares, but if you want to sit back and have a fun time, this is the perfect movie. If you own it on DVD, I still recommend the upgrade to the Blu Ray for the extra feature (scratch-free version) and the significant A/V upgrade.Get more detail about Planet Terror (2-Disc Special Edition) [Blu-ray].
